ParkinsonsDetector aims to provide an accessible tool to diagnose one of the most prominent diseases affecting millions worldwide, while not compromising accuracy and conveniency.
Through an eleven second audio sample, you receive a full diagnosis of Parkinsons disease in under ten seconds with a 98%+ accuracy.
Current diagnostic methods remain unaccessible to the general public and prove to be very inefficient, exhibiting only a 26% accuracy in diagnosing Parkinsons disease in patients at an early stage.
This project is a 2017 category-award winner at the Intel Science & Engineering Fair.
